Email and contact data
Latchwing connects one Google Gmail or Workspace mailbox to each signed-in customer workspace. It reads conversations and helps you recognize their senders. If you choose to send a reply, Latchwing uses Gmail after you review and explicitly submit that reply.
What Google data Latchwing accesses
With your permission, Latchwing requests the Gmail read-only and Gmail send scopes, along with basic OpenID email identity information. It reads conversation metadata and message text from Gmail when you open or refresh your inbox. The send permission is used only to send a reply you have reviewed and explicitly submitted. If your existing connection has not granted that permission, reconnect Gmail to authorize it.
What Latchwing stores
Latchwing stores the connected Google account identity and encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens so it can retrieve your inbox. Tokens are encrypted on the server using AES-256-GCM. Email message bodies and attachments are fetched for display and are not saved in Latchwing’s database. Contacts you add are stored in your own signed-in workspace with their name, email, notes, and timestamps.
How data is used and shared
Gmail data is used to display the inbox and match message sender addresses with contacts in your workspace. When you request a reply draft, conversation text is sent to Polsia’s managed AI service for that generation. Generating a draft does not send an email. A message is sent through Gmail only after you review the current reply and explicitly choose “Send reply”. Latchwing does not sell your Gmail data. Mailbox data is not exposed to other customer workspaces.
Access and deletion
You can disconnect Gmail from the inbox screen. Disconnecting asks Google to revoke the saved authorization and removes Latchwing’s stored mailbox tokens and account link. You can edit or delete contacts from the Contacts screen. Google may retain data according to its own settings and policies.
Gmail is provided by Google. Latchwing’s access is subject to the permissions shown by Google when you connect.
